This 15-day Art + Travel Journey includes a 4-day workshop with Kate Thompson, exploring expressive portraits inspired by exotic images of Nomad Women in our Sahara Studio. We’ll also have Kolleen Harrison, our lovely Yogi + love revivalist, traversing the trade route with us, guiding our Wellness Rituals as we begin and end our days together.
CAROLINE DOUGLAS’S “IGNIGHT YOUR CREATIVITY”
OCTOBER 22 - NOVEMBER 3, 2019
This art and travel adventure of South Morocco includes time in Marrakech before heading over the Atlas Mountains via mud-built kasbahs and the fabulous Draa Valley oasis. You will stay in hand-picked traditional riads, with several nights in a kasbah nestled in an oasis at the edge of the Sahara desert. Caroline Douglas along with your local Berber guides will teach you to use the old-fashioned wheel, techniques and even show you how the clay is made.
MARRAKECH HUES TO DESERT BLUES
MARCH 16 - MARCH 29, 2020
Join an intimate group of creative artisans in the Spring of 2020 to experience the ultimate Art of Travel adventure. We’ll weave the creative learning experiences of our photography and art workshops into uniquely personal artworks-while we seek additional inspiration in the colors, culture, and connections we find on our journey from the Marrakech Medina through the Valley of 1,000 Kasbahs, to Aitisfoul at the edge of the Sahara desert in Morocco.
